Seaside Sculpture

We challenge you to make your best ‘Seaside Sculpture’. You could opt for a traditional sandcastle if you are near a beach, or anything that takes your imagination made out of sand OR if you can’t get to the beach you can make something out of any materials you like as long as it has a seaside theme. It could be a particular object that reminds you of the seaside, or you could do a whole beach theme. We want you to be as creative as possible. Please do try and use reusable or recyclable materials to do our bit for the environment. Take a photo of yourself with your entry and post it on the Camp@Home Facebook group page, with the hashtag #SeasideSculpture by no later than 6pm on Saturday 24th July. Winner announced in the camp roundup.

Beach Ball Keepy Uppy

A little challenge for you to practice with is the game Keepy Uppy, basically you must keep the ball in the air for as long as possible, using any part of your body, feet, shoulders, head, arms to keep yuppy. Each time you hit it back in the air, you get one point, how many points can you get before the ball touches the ground. We advise using a beach ball to keep with the theme of our event, but you can use any ball if you don’t have a beach ball to hand. Why not dress up in your beach wear and Scout Scarf too? Film your best entry and upload to the Camp@Home Facebook Group page with the hashtag #SeasideKeepyUppy stating how many points you scored by no later than 6pm on Saturday 24th July. Winner announced in the camp roundup.
